Van Winkle Construction’s Shoot for Literacy event has supported the Matthew E. Russell Foundation for over 9 years. The purpose of this event is to introduce the Van Winkle family of owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to this great organization. Please join us for a great day of shooting and BBQ as we raise funds to create opportunities and brighter futures in an area of the world desolated by poverty and illiteracy.
This year’s Shoot for Literacy is on September 27, 2024. The event is held at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays in Waleska, GA – approximately one hour’s travel time north of Atlanta. Breakfast will be served during registration starting at 8:00 am and shooting begins at 9:00 am. Shooter and team awards are presented immediately after lunch at approximately 11:30 am.
